Kinsale has plenty of restaurants and good walks, and we could walk straight into town. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, and though the bed wasn't great, I slept well. The bathroom looked newly renovated, but its door wouldn't latch. The owner was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was tasty, with coffee and toast offered when we needed more. It was continental, so don't expect a cooked breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and have no regrets. The one thing that kept causing trouble was the front door: we couldn't lock it when leaving, even after being shown how, and had to call the owner each time. It seems like it needs replacing.

The room got freezing cold, and the 2.4 WiFi wouldn't stay connected. There was a spider and web on the chair. One side of the bed had a mattress, while the other was just box springs. The woman who cooks was horribly rude. Do not stay here. Buyer beware.

The mattresses looked about 50 years old and were stained, and the host wasn't friendly to our group. I wouldn't stay here again.

Getting out of the parking spot in the morning was really difficult because we were blocked in all night, and there was barely room to manoeuvre. The room was noisy, cramped, not very clean, and had a terrible bed and a poor view of the street. Breakfast was watery juice and stale bread. Avoid.

The bathroom was nice, with a walk-in shower, and the small room had what I needed. The mattress was a bit thin and it got chilly at night. Breakfast was included: toast, yoghurt, cheese, jam, meat, and tea or coffee. No full Irish breakfast, but it was a good start to the day 👍
