John was one of the best hosts we’ve ever met. He made us feel at home right away, shared great tips for exploring Kinsale, and even gave us a lift when we needed one. The excellent breakfast kept us satisfied, and the welcoming common areas were a lovely place to relax and take in the views. The harbor and countryside views took our breath away when we arrived. Our room was cosy, very clean, and had everything we needed for a restful night. We only stayed one night at Rocklands House B&B, but it made such an impression that we’ve booked two nights for next August. It’s a little outside town, which suited us. The peaceful setting let us get away from the noise, with shops and restaurants still a pleasant stroll away. The short walk was worth it for the quiet and scenery. One thing to know: the entrance gate requires a sharp turn off the road. We didn’t find it difficult, though it might be challenging for some guests. Rocklands House B&B comes highly recommended for a peaceful, scenic stay in Kinsale. The views, comfortable room, and John’s hospitality were all wonderful, and we can’t wait to return next summer.

John was a wonderful host, and the room had a beautiful view. It’s a short walk into town, and he even offered us a lift the first night to show us the way back. Breakfast was delicious, and I liked finding an international plug adapter already in the room. We absolutely loved our stay!

John makes you feel at home right away. He’s incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and after meeting him it feels like you’ve known him for years. With the lovely gardens, incredible views, and wonderful breakfast, this was just delightful in every way. Thank you, John!
