Absolute Hotel Limerick

The full Irish breakfast was a highlight, with plenty to choose from and everything cooked well using good ingredients. My room was spotless, modern, and well looked after, so it felt comfortable and relaxing. The reception team were welcoming and efficient when I arrived, and check-in was easy. I only stayed one night at the Absolute Hotel, but was very impressed and would gladly return.

The location worked really well, about a 10 minute walk from the city centre, with a bit of distance from the busy streets while still close enough to walk in. Parking is limited, as noted before booking and in the follow-up email, but there’s a multi-storey lot across the road, charging €13 for 24 hours midweek and €7 on weekends. We had a wedding in the ballroom during our stay, but once we went to bed our room was completely quiet. The soundproofing was excellent. The hotel feels modern, luxurious and inviting, and although it’s rated four stars, it felt like five to us. The room was fantastic, and dinner and drinks in Harry’s were outstanding. Ana welcomed us at reception, kindly upgraded our room, and checked that we had what we needed. Nicola and Siobhan were lovely too, and the restaurant bartenders on Friday 30th January were friendly and professional. We can’t wait to come back.

We had an electric car and were pleased to charge it overnight, though you’ll need the EZO app. Check-out was very smooth. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom, and breakfast was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the city centre location made it easy to get around. We’d definitely stay at The Absolute hotel again.

This little hotel made a better impression on us than the Marriott and Hyatt where we stayed later in our trip. The staff were lovely, and the room was comfortable and very clean. We travel quite a bit, and the hospitality, cleanliness and amenities here really stood out. Free parking, complimentary water and wifi were included.
