We chose the Castletroy Park Hotel for our wedding in July 2025 and were so glad we did. The ballroom had plenty of space for dinner and dancing, and it was comfortable too. The food was excellent all day, from the starters to the late-night bites, and lots of our guests complimented it. Margaret, Jamie, and the rest of the team looked after us and our guests so well on the day. Everything ran smoothly. We were lucky to have a scorcher of a summer day, so we held the ceremony outdoors. Several guests said it felt like a wedding in Spain. The grounds looked stunning, with fresh flowers in the gardens, and there were several spots at the hotel for photos, plus other great picture locations nearby. Margaret and her team were helpful and accommodating from the start. They kept in touch as we planned, answered questions and requests, and shared local recommendations when we needed them. The whole experience was stress free, and we’d highly recommend the hotel to couples looking for a beautiful venue and great service.

Our group of 15 gathered for my son’s surprise 21st birthday, and it turned out to be a fantastic day for everyone. The table and decorations were presented beautifully, the menu had something to suit everyone, and the food and presentation were spot on. The servers were professional and worked hard to meet everyone’s needs. Later, we moved to a table in the bar, where our guests also noticed how nice the bar staff were. The hotel staff helped organize everything and were quick to answer my emails and questions. We dropped off the cake and balloons at reception on the day, and they took care of them. When we arrived for dinner that evening, our guests were already there waiting for us. Thanks to Margagret, Natella, Rosin, and the bar team for making the day so special for Jamie. The terrace could use a little sprucing up. It’s a pleasant space with potential, but it would feel more inviting if it matched the rest of the hotel. The room, by comparison, was fabulous, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very well presented. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and I had a lovely stay. I’d happily return.

Marta made a real difference to our visit. She was an amazing waitress, so friendly and upbeat, and her jokes made the atmosphere more fun and welcoming. You can tell she enjoys her work and passes that positive energy on to guests. Ciril was also fantastic as manager, kind and attentive to making sure everything was right. People like them make you want to come back, and they deserve recognition for their work. The Castleroy Park Hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable, with a lovely atmosphere. The food was excellent and well prepared, and the service was outstanding.

The welcome at reception was warm from the moment I arrived, and every team member I met showed real care and professionalism. The Food & Beverage / Conference & Banqueting team also provided seamless service, helping make the wedding enjoyable and memorable.
