Thanks for a lovely stay. The breakfast was top class, and we had a cosy room with a comfortable bed and a real sense of warmth. It isn’t a luxury resort, but the atmosphere and service were beyond ordinary.

Maria had lots of useful knowledge about the area and things to do, and her sweet dog Glen was a delight. We stayed at the An Stór Townhouse for three nights and really enjoyed it. It worked perfectly as a base for day trips around Cork, with parking waiting for us when we got back. In the evenings we could walk to dinner, the store, or Midleton Distillery Experience. My toddler was especially happy spotting the nearby cows on our walks. I’d seen comments about breakfast being expensive, so I expected a high cost. There’s a generous cold spread with coffee, tea, and water included, and the hot food was incredibly cheap. I only took a photo of the charcuterie boards, and there was plenty more. For what you get, the price is hard to beat. I’m really glad we chose this place for our Cork stop.

Maria went out of her way to help us. Our Free now driver, booked the night before, never arrived, and she made several calls so we could get a ride and catch our train to Dublin. She made us feel at home throughout our couple of days there. Glen, her very well-behaved dog, gave us the warmest greeting. My sister, our friend, and I would definitely stay again.

The place was spotless, and the room was gorgeous. Breakfast was lovely, and the shower pressure was brilliant. The woman running it was so helpful and nice, and there was a gorgeous dog too. I’d definitely come back.

We’re already planning another trip to Midleton, and we’ll stay at this B&B again. The room was on the top floor at the end of the hall, with a comfortably cool feel and bedding that was incredibly warm and cosy. The water pressure was great, better than what you get in many large hotels. We originally booked for the convenience of being close to the distillery and the main street, but arriving at the charming building and seeing the equally charming interior was a lovely surprise. The owners and their beautiful pup were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
