Four Seasons Hotel & Leisure Club Monaghan

We celebrated our wedding at the Four Seasons, and the staff went above and beyond for us. The service, food and facilities were all brilliant. Everything about the venue was top class.

I stayed on Sunday 16th November 2025 in Room 124. The bed was big and the room seemed decent at first, but it didn’t look fully cleaned. There was a strong cigarette smell. I woke on Monday feeling as if I’d smoked 30 cigarettes the night before. The room was cold in the morning too, which wasn’t ideal when it was -2 outside.

The staff made this lovely hotel for me. They were warm, welcoming and good fun. Highly recommend.

I stayed for two nights with my four children, and we won’t be back. At the empty bar, service was dreadful. I had to ask for ketchup for the kids, more napkins and black pepper for my pasta. At breakfast there was no communication from the servers, and when we arrived there often weren’t any pastries, with only 4/5 croissants available. It was very minimal. The family room was for five people across two rooms, but there were only two bathroom glasses. Reception on arrival was dreadful too. They asked about my plans, and when I said I had none, there was no interest in suggesting anything. The vending machine in the gym and pool area took our money, then on the fourth try gave us a completely different drink from the one we selected. There was no lifeguard at the pool or anyone watching who was getting into the jacuzzi. Disgusted. Never again.
