We were here recently for a family mass. The rooms and breakfast were great, and so were the bar and staff. I’d highly recommend it.

The room was spotless and comfortable, and I especially liked the traditional Irish breakfast with local sausages and black pudding. Staff were attentive and welcoming, and went out of their way to help me feel at home. I had a lovely night at Walsh's Bridge Inn in Newport, County Mayo, Ireland, and would gladly stay again if I get the chance.

We were charged more for breakfast than the menu listed. The waitress was rude, and after we asked for the bill, it took over an hour to arrive.

The room was spacious and looked out over the river, and the staff and food were great, even with a limited menu. If anything was missing, we only had to ask and it was sorted. The Bridge Inn was a pleasant place to stay, especially as a last-minute booking for a weekend away. One thing to know if you have mobility issues: the stairs to the rooms may be difficult, though the public bar was easy to access.

The food was very nice, arrived quickly, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The price was so low it felt like going back in time, in the best way, great value. I’d visit again. Personally, I preferred the food, staff, and atmosphere here to Seven Arches bar and bistro.
