Castledale

We had an amazing two night stay and are looking forward to coming back. The hosts were gracious and professional, and the place was beautiful and well maintained inside and out. The scenery was stunning, with perfect serenity, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. We highly recommend it.

This place is spectacular. We enjoyed a couple glasses of wine we'd brought while sitting in the outdoor gazebo, and the breakfast was excellent. Gerry and his wife were amazing hosts. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. If I could give it 6 stars out of 5, I would.

The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and I loved the glass sink. The rooms were spacious, the food was delicious, and it was nice getting to chat with other guests at the shared dining table. It's a beautiful house with really welcoming hosts. What's not to like? We'll be back.

Gerry suggested a few local places for dinner, and the food was incredible. We felt properly relaxed during a stressful time with COVID19 causing so much disruption, and he was careful about the safety rules too. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and got upgraded to the penthouse. It’s huge, comfortable, quiet, and has everything you could need and then some. The house sits in beautiful gardens full of trees that are kept immaculate. Gerry gave us such a warm welcome, and we also met Jesse, his lovely, very friendly rescue dog who’s clearly landed in a wonderful home. We can’t wait to return, and hopefully meet Gerry’s wife next time since she was away this week. Thank you so much.
