Christina’s warm hospitality made our time at Lurgan House one of the highlights of our once in a lifetime trip, and we’re really grateful to her. The rooms were great, and breakfast was amazing. We also loved the brown bread, honestly the best we had on the whole trip.

Ena and the lovely, homey Lurgan House made for a wonderful visit. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was the best we’ve had so far in Ireland. I ate three of the scones this morning because they were that good!

The morning birdsong was so relaxing, and I felt right at home at Lurgan House. Ina was wonderful and made a fantastic breakfast. The room was clean and had all the toiletries we needed. This was a highlight of my trip, and I only wish I’d stayed longer. All the best to you and your family, Ina!

Staying at Lurgan House feels like being at Mama’s. Ena takes such good care of her guests, and breakfast is delicious, classic Irish food adjusted to your taste. The Great Western Green Way is right across the street, with an easy walk to the Octagon.

We had a lovely two nights here. The owners were exceptionally welcoming, and the full Irish breakfast in the morning is not to be missed. It’s a peaceful spot in the evening, about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Westport town.
