Breakfast was a real highlight, with a lovely, generous selection that should suit all tastes. The owners were friendly and charismatic, and welcomed us warmly for our one-night stay. The setting is quiet and peaceful, though the walk into Westport town centre is quite long. Room 3 was clean and had the essentials for a short visit. The mattress was very soft, so if you share the bed, you’ll feel your partner move. The bathroom was spotless and well maintained, but it had a strong musty, mouldy smell that was off-putting despite how clean it was. The hospitality and peaceful location made for a pleasant stay.

Breakfast came with a good mix of cooked food, including a full Irish breakfast, and continental options like fruit and cereal. I slept for 12 hours straight, genuinely one of my best nights’ sleep in ages. The bed, room and lovely, homely service all helped me feel at ease. The photo is the view from Room 3. There’s an amazing pizza place about a seven-minute walk down the road that you should try.

Mary and Liam were fantastic hosts, and the service and location deserve five stars. Thanks for the huge pot of Barry's tea, the coffee, delicious breakfast and a map. : )

The owner was really charming and nice, and the room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. I’d recommend it very much, 10 out of 10.

Just stayed one night and it was a delight, really comfortable. Great breakfast, too.
