Louise picked us up at the station in the rain when we arrived by train, which was really kind. After our long trip, fresh scones and coffee were much appreciated. We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Louise knew the local places to eat and things to do, and although we'd booked room only, we were given a fabulous continental breakfast. The room was spotless and very quiet. Thanks for the hospitality, Louise. We'll definitely be back.

Louise and the others were very welcoming and knew the area well. Breakfast was superb, too. We stopped at this lovely B&B during our drive around Ireland. The rooms were clean and nice, with plenty of towels and a clean bathroom.

We'd like to see an indoor-outdoor seating area where guests could relax and enjoy the beautiful garden, but otherwise we had a very good stay and plan to return to Westport and Broadlands next year. We arrived early on Wednesday and were still met with a warm, positive welcome from a smiling staff member. The room was clean and comfortable, and the toilet and shower were spotless. Breakfast was filling and very good; the bacon was delicious and set us up for the day. They offered us fruit to take along on our trip to Ochill Island. Bridget also suggested places to visit on the way, though we still got lost. This is a credit to Bridget and her staff, who've come together as a happy, hard-working group. A big thank you. See you soon. John and Mandy.

The rooms were full of sunshine and very quiet, and we had a lovely stay. Breakfast was fantastic, Joe and his wife Bridget are great cooks, and Joe even took us into the village and showed us around. Jamie and Jenny

Overpriced, and it felt like everyone was just going through the motions. The shower seemed straight out of the 70s, with a stiff, tricky tap, and it never got warm enough. The front door's rim lock was so loud that it woke both of us at 2:30 a.m. when people came back, and nobody apologized. Breakfast was basic, with old croissants and pastries wrapped in cellophane.
