Roseville House - Luxury Accommodation

Our room was bright, really clean, and thoughtfully stocked with espresso pods, tea, biscuits, bread, milk, and cereal. Richie and Caroline were lovely and paid close attention to the details during our stay at their courtyard B&B. We'd gladly stay again when we're back in Youghal.

We stayed upstairs, and Richie carried all our luggage up for us. The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed, with lots of useful tips about the village and places to eat. Each morning they brought a delicious breakfast, more than we could finish. Our room at Roseville House was elegant and spacious, with a lovely view of the local castle. The B&B is centrally placed within walking distance of Youghal harbor, restaurants, and shops. We'd put it at the top of our list and look forward to visiting again.

The location made it easy to reach the pubs, restaurants, and sights in town, and parking was straightforward, which isn't always the case in a town centre. Breakfast was far more than the word "continental" suggests: warm croissants and toast, pastries, freshly cooked eggs, yogurt, fruit, and probably more I'm forgetting. Richie clearly loves Youghal and his childhood home, and his local tips for restaurants, pubs, hikes, and sights show it. He won't steer you wrong. The remodeled guest suites are stunning, with lovely spaces and thoughtful details throughout. The bathroom was spacious and laid out so well, one of the most functional we had in Ireland. There was also a little kitchenette in the suite with a fridge, toaster, dishes, and utensils for other meals. Everything about our stay at Roseville House felt perfect. What a find!

That upstairs suite at Roseville made our Ireland trip especially memorable. It felt private and airy, and the decor was lovely. Richie and Caroline were gracious, with useful suggestions for nearby restaurants and sights. We also enjoyed the fresh, healthy breakfast tray. We hope to come back for longer in the next few years.
