Glen House Room

The rooms are fine and breakfast was OK, but Mary's warmth is what makes this B&B shine. She makes sure you feel welcome and looked after from the moment you arrive, and will go out of her way to accommodate you. I read the reviews about her and they were spot on. If you're spending a few days in youghal, don't hesitate to book with her. You won't be disappointed.

We had a great night in this cosy, local, homely B&B, and the woman running it was a little saint. The room had lovely views of youghal. I'd highly recommend it and would stay again, 10/10.

The person we dealt with was friendly, but the facilities were very poor. My room was cold and damp, cramped, and the towels weren't fresh. I was unhappy with the low standard and felt the accommodation wasn't fit for purpose. There's no excuse for that, and I couldn't recommend it.

Mary was a delightful landlady, and the setting was beautiful. The rooms were clean and fresh, with plumbing that worked properly for once. The homemade bread was lovely, and it was excellent value for money. I only wish I could live here.
