I couldn't get into the hotel, and was charged for five nights despite never setting foot inside. I booked through Delta Vacations and was told to contact the property for check-in instructions. Those should have been sent with the booking or handled by management, instead of making guests cold-call for access details. With Shabbat starting in Jerusalem, I had to find somewhere else at the last minute. I travel a lot and know plans can go wrong, but this was abhorrent. Delta Vacations couldn't reach them either, so I didn't get a refund. Seeing other reviews describe the same thing is even more disappointing. You have got to do better. The US number was disconnected. I tried the Israeli number from a business next door, but got a message in Hebrew and then the call dropped. The numbers on the door had the same problem. Management was unreachable.

I was left without self-check-in details after booking La Perle Hotel, so I had to find another place to stay at the last minute. Very disappointing.

The room smelled bad from the first day and was incredibly dirty. Yellow sweat marks covered the bedsheets, and there was mould in the bathroom. It was obvious that it wasn't cleaned often. This was the dirtiest, most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. There was no reception, and they often didn't answer the phone. We were two people but were often left with only one towel, and several times there was no toilet paper. A horrible waste of money, and I probably left with an infection after staying there.

No one picks up the phone or tells you about the “special” requirements before check-in. Then the hotel refused to refund me because of its own unprofessionalism. Worst service I've ever encountered. Don't stay here unless you want to be left alone with your luggage on a street in an unfamiliar city. There are plenty of nearby hotels that meet basic hospitality standards.
