The hotel has a lot going for it, with a spacious setup that can host very large groups. There are indoor and outdoor pools, a rooftop area, bar, shops, and even a bunker, which gives the place some character. Our room was spacious and looked out over the pool and part of the city. Getting around was convenient: it’s just outside the center, but still well placed. The stay was pleasant, though the hotel feels like it’s showing its age. The furniture is dated, some pieces clearly need repair, and the walls and doors could use maintenance. The building has strong foundations, but would benefit from refurbishment and more consistent upkeep. Staff were generally good. The breakfast and dinner teams could be quicker and more attentive, and a little more warmth would help. The hotel has the makings of a much better experience, but needs improvements to live up to its potential.

I was there for a group dinner, so I can’t speak to the rooms. The facility was very clean and easy to reach, with the light rail nearby. Staff were pleasant, and the food was delicious.

We arrived not long after the recent war, and the front desk and housekeeping staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and appreciated. As of 13th April, the hotel had no restaurants or room service available, but breakfast was still included. Shabbat was fairly full. This hotel deserves your business!

Our three-night stay with an 11-month-old baby was a nightmare. The room had bed bugs and dust mites, and since I’m allergic, I couldn’t sleep at all. I had itchy eyes, sneezing, coughing, and a runny nose the whole time. We arrived with three large suitcases, two small ones, and a stroller, but nobody helped us, not even getting into the hotel. The receptionist was rude and unwelcoming. We had to ask for everything ourselves, including the Wi-Fi and password, breakfast hours, and which floor breakfast was on. No one gave us any information upfront. Breakfast wasn’t terrible and there was some choice, but it was exactly the same each day. This hotel isn’t suitable for families with babies, and we wouldn’t recommend it.

We got to try both the older rooms and the renovated ones. The older rooms are clean, but definitely old, while the renovated rooms look stunning and are really comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of variety.
