Villa Brown Jerusalem

The room and bathroom were clean and functional, and breakfast was tasty. They greeted us with an original, tasty welcome drink or soup. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, and the location worked really well for getting around the city.

We travel a lot, and Villa Brown is high on our list of places to return to. The old Jerusalem villa setting was lovely, and the central location put both Mahane Yehuda and the Damascus gate within walking distance. The manager and staff were excellent, making us feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast exceeded our expectations, and the coffee was a great start to the day. Thank you, Mustafa.

The sheltered, secluded garden feel was lovely from the moment we arrived, and breakfast and its service gave us a chance to relax before heading out for the day. Outside, Jerusalem traffic was rushing by, but the stone walls and double glazing kept it out completely. There’s also an upstairs viewing balcony with a look over old Jerusalem. We loved the ambience and decor, which had much more character than other Jerusalem hotels I’ve stayed in. Eli looked after all our needs at check-in, showed us to our room himself, and arranged taxis. We felt seen, which you don’t get everywhere. The place was enjoyable and full of character, a highlight of our trip. We’ll book again.
