There are plenty of good restaurants and hotels close by, and the beach itself is a nice stretch of sand near the city center. Groynes help shelter it, so you can still get in the water when the sea isn’t very calm. In season, weekends get really crowded, and stormy weather brings surfers.
It’s a broad, beautiful beach, and even with its central location it only gets too packed during peak season and on Saturdays.
Tel Aviv beaches are just so good. Nothing else like them.
