Gateway Ahmedabad Sindhu Bhavan Hotel

The people made this stay especially memorable. F&B Manager Mr. Bhatia made sure we overindulged at every meal, tempting us with dishes from his kitchen, while Babli kept up a constant smile and attentive service. Shiv Shankar was proactive with housekeeping, so we never had to ask twice for anything. General Manager Mr. Naveen Kumar sets a high standard, and his hands-on attention to guest feedback reflects a real commitment to quality and satisfaction. At Taj Gateway Ahmedabad on Sindhu Bhavan Road, the room was spacious and comfortable, the hotel spotless, and the ambience stylish and welcoming for business or leisure. Staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout. A wonderful stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Ahmedabad.

Khushal made our visit to AURA Restaurant a great one. He was polite, attentive, and kept checking that we were comfortable. He handled our requests quickly and with a smile, and his friendly, professional manner really improved the meal. We’ll definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

Irfan, Simran, and Babli were kind, polite, hardworking, and quick to help. The staff overall were very warm. Breakfast was good, though the food taste could have been better. Everything else was great.

The hotel itself was a very good stay for us. Its location was excellent, with good shops nearby, and the rooms were exceptionally clean, everything shining. The rest of the staff were excellent too, especially Mr. Mukesh, who helped us with our bags multiple times. The café on the ground floor behind reception let us down on our last day. We ordered two teas, a cheese sandwich, a Mexican sandwich, a chicken wrap, Coke, and chips. The bill was 4,000 rupees, which wasn’t the concern. We got all the food, but the teas never came, even after an hour. For a five-star hotel in India, where tea is usually quick to prepare, that was surprising and unacceptable. The hotel has potential, but café service needs improvement.
