The staff were great, and the rooms were clean and affordable.

I chose the place through make my trip for a one-day solo stay because the price was low. At arrival, I was told I could only get a room after paying extra. It was raining and difficult to find somewhere else, so I paid and stayed. Housekeeping was minimal; I’d rate the room 3/5, cleanliness 2/5, and staff behaviour 2/5. MMT did refund me, which I appreciate, but hotels like this shouldn't be listed on online portals.

I prepaid through Goibibo for a saver double room with amenities for two nights. At 10:46pm on 13th June, the booking date, I called the hotel to confirm they had my reservation under my name. The boy on the phone said they did. But when I arrived around 6:45pm to check in, the receptionist first said there was no booking. A minute later he asked to see my details, looked at what I had paid, then told me I’d need to pay another 1200 for the room I’d booked. I asked politely why, saying they should update the price on the website if there was an issue, instead of asking me for more for a room and services already paid for. He called his manager or the property owner, who rudely refused to give me the room at that rate. When I took out my phone to record what he was saying, he got hesitant and stopped talking about it. There was another uncle sitting by reception; he went quiet while I recorded. He then pressured me to stop recording on their property. I said fine, just give me a room and I wouldn't record. He showed me a different, dark-colored part of the hotel and a very small room with no AC, a dirty sheet, someone else's dirty things left inside, and an unhygienic bathroom. Those conditions did not match the amenities I'd paid for. I felt they weren't going to provide the room I booked, and the staff seemed rude, clever, and vulgar, so I left straight away. I called the Goibibo customer executive to report the service issues. They assured me someone from their team would call and refunded my money within 1½ hours, but on the fourth day, 17th June, I still hadn't received a call. Goibibo's customer service was bad. Shame on you. This was a lesson for me, and I hope others are careful when booking this hotel through Goibibo.

I'd give this hotel zero or even a negative rating. At 10 pm, the manager refused check-in for six senior citizens, claiming there were no rooms available. There were rooms free, but it seemed the manager didn't want to give one to guests who had booked through OYO. It's shameful in a state associated with Narendra Modi. Oyo booking no: UGKA5542
