Hotel Darshan

The dining room at Hotel Darshan & Banquet Hall feels calm and roomy, with plenty of seating, and parking is easy. I found it clean and suitable for families. The staff were courteous and service was fairly quick, though we waited a little longer at peak time. The Punjabi food was a pleasant surprise. The flavors tasted authentic and balanced, and the Paneer Butter Masala was especially good and served fresh. Worth a visit if you want vegetarian Punjabi food in Hansapura.

The cozy feel at Darshan Hotel made it easy to relax, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was full of flavor and cooked really well. I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food. I’m looking forward to going back.

The car parking is very far from the hotel, and the nearby parking is only for buses. Security spoke to us as if we were eating there for free.

We got a cheese and bread put together and called a Cheese Grilled Sandwich. The Veg Grilled Sandwich was just cucumber and tomato. When we asked about it, the manager said that’s how they make sandwiches there, and that he’d been working there for three years. We weren’t told in advance that this was what they served. I could have understood a Jain-specific order being different, but even that would have capsicum in it. Anyone who’s had a sandwich would know it should have more to it than only cucumber and tomato. It was the first time I’d seen one like that. The staff were rude, and nobody was willing to admit there was a mistake. Instead, they behaved very rudely.
