Hotel Liberty

The staff were polite and helpful with simple requests, and the food was satisfactory, though there could be more choices. Hotel Liberty also has a convenient Ahmedabad location near transport, markets, and places to eat. My room was clean and reasonably spacious, with Wi-Fi, AC, and hot water, and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping came regularly. Some of the room decor and bathroom fittings could use an upgrade, though. The shared areas were tidy but a bit cramped when busy. For a short stay, I thought it was decent value for a three-star hotel. Better room upkeep and more food variety would improve it.

Hotel Liberty worked well for a budget short stay in Ahmedabad. The location is handy for major markets, and getting there from the railway station or airport was easy. This has changed from a hotel into a boys' PG, so it is not a hotel anymore. It could be a nice place for students or working professionals staying near Law Garden, Mithakali, Ashram Road, West Bank, Pathshala, or the Riverfront.

The receptionist kept part of my change after I paid, and the owner wouldn't answer calls. Oyo customer care wasn't helpful with my questions either. It was my first time booking through Oyo, and I can see why they have a bad reputation. The hotel was in a dirty, sketchy-looking building, and the room and bathroom were dirty too. No doormat, faulty taps and faucets, and a bad lock.
