Hotel Radhanand by OYO Rooms

Our check-in was at noon, but the rooms weren’t ready until 6:00 PM. We got fed up, left, and checked into another hotel. Only then did they contact us to say the rooms were ready and ask us to come back. They refused to cancel, so I lost the booking amount. I wouldn’t recommend it at all, and families should avoid it.

The receptionist was bad and refused to check us in even though our booking was confirmed. The rooms were dirty and there was no safety. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was shabby, dirty, and smelled like a garbage bin. The walls, toilet seat, bedsheets, and blanket were all dirty, and the bedding looked like it hadn’t been washed in years. Staff even asked me for a tip for that mess. The owner was arrogant and charged extra for checking in two hours early, even after I explained I’d leave after six hours instead of booking the full night. I’ve checked in 4-6 hours early at many hotels before without paying. I was only in Ahmedabad for a few hours and found this place through Google Maps, but the check-in was awful. Don’t rely blindly on Google Maps hotel photos. I urge people not to book here. It doesn’t deserve even one star.

We came here because we couldn’t find anywhere else to eat. We arrived at our hotel around 2:30 pm, and restaurants in Gujarat close from 3-5 in the afternoon. This restaurant was serving its last customer but still made room for us. The place is small and dingy on the main road, and I saw a mouse under the tables. I didn’t even have the courage to look at the washroom. The gobi paratha and kaju lassi were both tasty, affordable, and served quickly. The manager was sweet and hospitable. We liked the kaju lassi so much that we came back before leaving Gujarat.
