Hotel Royal King Nana Chiloda

There’s load shedding for hours at a time, both day and night, and that also cuts off bathroom water. The rooms stink and are full of cockroaches. They’re pathetic, and the pictures here are lies. The place is shady and filthy, and I wouldn’t make this up. The location is isolated right by the highway, and men stare in a way I can’t describe. Pay a bit more and stay somewhere else. Choosing this place will be your worst nightmare.

We had booked for two days, but we stayed only an hour to get ready before going sightseeing. The room conditions were terrible, the bedsheets weren’t clean, and the washrooms were unhygienic and in poor condition. One room had a very bad odor. The service staff were unsupportive and unprofessional. It was no place for a family to stay. We lost a lot of money and had to find another hotel at the last minute at extra cost. I request a refund for at least one day.

The property isn’t maintained, and the rooms are filthy with uncleaned washrooms. The staff behaved terribly, and the receptionist was especially rude and uncultured, with no idea how to speak to people. He asked for extra money even though I’d already paid online. It’s a shady place and I wouldn’t take my family there. The location is out of the way, with no convenient transport or good restaurants nearby. This was the worst experience anyone could have. I recommend blacklisting the hotel from all online booking sites.

When we said we’d ask Oyo for help, he said he’d charge us 500 rupees if we filed a complaint. He was rude, uncooperative, and had no decency in the way he spoke to us. The hotel itself was filthy and smelled bad. The sheets were stained, the rooms cramped, and the doors had no locks. It’s in a shady spot beside the highway, and the staff and surroundings made it feel unsuitable for a family. I wouldn’t recommend Hotel Royal King Nana chiloda to anyone.
