Hyatt Ahmedabad

I was there from around March 15th to the 25th, and everything went perfectly. The two guys at reception were both wearing glasses, and one was tall. They were very nice, and he found me a great room with a great view. Housekeeping was great too, especially Subeksha, who was really sweet and helpful. The food was awesome. It’s right beside the mall as well. I’ll come back.

The Paneer Platter and Mexican Bowl were absolutely delicious, though the rest of the food was only average. I was at a meeting at Hyatt Ahmedabad, Vastrapur, and the service was excellent from the entrance onward, living up to the brand. But the temperature was uncomfortable: the meeting room was too cold, while the common areas felt warm. The lifts were especially suffocating, with fans that seemed switched off or not working properly. It’s a great property, but they need to sort out the air conditioning and lift ventilation.

The rooms look dated and need updating, and some associates could use more customer service training. The check-in went well, though, and the location next to a mall is convenient. The nightly rate is reasonable.

The chef, Mr. Najrul, made a lasting impression. He checked in with guests each day and asked about special requests. Since my little baby couldn’t tolerate the spices in Indian food, he went out of his way to prepare meals for her each day to suit her taste. On our last day, he left her a lovely note that I’m keeping as a memory. I’m also grateful to Mr. Rashed, who made the stay easy and comfortable. The service is exceptional and the staff are very professional and courteous. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the location near alpha mall is amazing, and there’s a delicious range of food. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I choose it whenever I travel to India and have always been completely satisfied. I’ll definitely return to the Hyatt Ahmedabad. BIG UP HYATT AHMEDABAD.
