The quiet atmosphere and detailed wooden carvings give this restored home a lot of character. Its traditional Gujarati architecture brings out Ahmedabad's cultural richness, while the stay still feels comfortable. A great stop for anyone interested in history or looking for an authentic experience.

The old city is about a 10 minute tuk tuk ride from this Haveli, which is owned by House of MG. The streets there are very narrow and the whole area feels old-world, while the Haveli itself feels like a quiet oasis amid the lively neighborhood. The staff were warm and helpful, and my spacious room was clean and nicely decorated. It felt both authentic and modern.

The terrace at havelis 2 has a lovely atmosphere for the new weekend dinner. They serve a set thali with limited choices, but it's a nice way to enjoy the feel of the old city and the haveli.
