We were only there for one night before catching the train the next morning, thankfully. The hotel is very close to Ahmedabad railway station, and reception and the other staff were polite, but our room wasn't clean. Room 203 had bed bugs, and although there was a 'disinfected' sticker, the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Being close to the railway station was the main plus. For what they charge, the rest wasn't great. The rooms are very small for a family, the bald receptionist was rude and talked as if he owned the place, and housekeeping opened the door without knocking or waiting for someone to answer. Hot water was a big problem, and breakfast wasn't very good.

It was only a 4 mins walk from the railway station, and they let me check in early at 6.00 am after charging a bit extra. The room was fairly maintained, room service was good, and the staff were welcoming, helpful, and humble. For the price, the stay was decent and felt justified.

I was left locked inside the bathroom when its door jammed, and staff took a long time to respond before finally breaking the lock to get me out. Even after I called for help, there seemed to be no urgency or concern from the staff or management. Nobody followed up or tried to resolve what happened. The safety issue and lack of care made for a deeply frustrating stay, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
