OYO 79456 Collection O Hotel Kyra

Really bad stay. Dust was everywhere, and there was fungus on the headrest. I couldn’t sleep because of bedbugs, and basic facilities weren’t provided. The hygiene was awful. I don’t know why they keep the hotel open if they can’t maintain basic cleanliness. 🥲

The hotel is barely five minutes from the airport, right on the main airport road, so the location is great. Inside was a nightmare, though. Lizards were all over the room, and one ran over me. The exterior glass window facing the road kept shaking. The flush was broken, and the bathroom exhaust opening was so large it looked like even an anaconda could get through. I was too scared to use the washroom and waited until I reached the airport the next morning. The TV didn’t work, and neither did any of the room’s electrical amenities apart from the air conditioner. I wonder what’s stopping management from doing the basic upkeep needed to make this a peaceful stay instead of a scary night.

The rooms are spacious and have wardrobes, and the bed linen and blankets were clean and hygienic. Bathrooms were clean and had hot water, and the staff and reception team were helpful and cooperative. For the location and amenities, the room price is very reasonable. The hotel is around 3-4 km from the airport, with enough transport available to get around, including to the main city.
