Treebo Ambassador

We stayed at Treebo Ambassador Ahmedabad from Feb 10th to Feb 12th, 2026, and it was one of the worst 3-Star hotels we’ve experienced. The hotel is in one of the dirtiest parts of Ahmedabad, and the atmosphere feels gloomy. Our room was tiny, smaller than a Tokyo hotel, with barely enough room for two people to move around. The bed was small and springy, and the worn, dirty sheets looked as if they hadn’t been changed. The chair was so filthy it looked greasy. In the bathroom, the towel rail was broken, the commode was dirty, and the shower sprayed water all over, so we had to use a bucket and mug. The water was almost cold, and the towels were badly worn. Breakfast was a joke, just one Indian item and white bread sandwiches with butter and jam. This place doesn’t deserve even one star, and I wouldn’t recommend this depressing hotel. Dr. Ganesh Raikar

We were there for three nights in the first week of January while visiting Ahmedabad. It’s a small hotel with limited rooms, but the service and cleanliness were top class. Breakfast had few choices but was very tasty, and the food we ordered to the room arrived quickly and tasted great. The location is central for sightseeing and close to the riverfront.

The location is the best thing about this place, and the watchman was very good and vigilant. Staff were okay, and the linens were good, but the furniture was worn out and the rooms looked better in the pictures. The washrooms had leaks everywhere, taps and shower controls weren’t working, and repeated requests about the taps got no response. The toilet seats were displaced and unusually short. The desk manager said that was the architect’s design, and they didn’t help us change rooms. At 3k per night, it was far too expensive for this property.

The central Ahmedabad location is ideal, and the room was adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was okay. But there was no hot water for showers during my entire stay, so I’m giving it a low score.
