Mr. Lal Singh, the Haveli’s caretaker and concierge, was indispensable. He can help arrange transport to Pushkar and Ajmer dargah, and you can also enjoy a home-cooked meal here. The family who owns the place lives in the house, which is around 150 years old. They have pictures of their grandparents’ car collections and political affiliations to look through. This old-style Haveli is tucked among newer stores near Ajmer Railway station. It’s a peaceful option if you’d rather stay away from bustling Pushkar. I’d recommend it if you like the charm of an old Haveli and the feel of a homestay.

The brothers who own the haveli spoke amazing English, and the staff were absolutely lovely. On the one evening we stayed, we had a really illuminating conversation. They even let us use their business computer when they weren’t using it. We also had a great city tour by tuktuk. Absolutely recommend it!

Loved the ambience and the service was superb. The food was tasty too, and it’s a great place for health.

Really disappointing. Room service was poor, and the rates felt very high. The rooms are old and haven’t been painted in a long time. The bathroom and washroom were in bad shape and smelled, and there wasn’t any soap.
