The food was home-cooked and decent, but the prices felt exorbitant for the quality and quantity. We’d had thali meals at several places around Alibaug, and even the highest-end restaurants charged less for similar food. The pool was a major letdown. It was far from the main building and looked dirty and poorly maintained, so we didn’t consider using it. The rooms were filthy too. Our Deluxe AC room had cigarette butts on the floor, cockroaches, flies, and an overall neglected feel. Management said the cleaners were unavailable because of an emergency, which seemed like an excuse. They moved us to another room, but it was no cleaner. We were traveling with our 8-month-old baby, who got mosquito bites on his face because of the mosquito problem. The location felt like a remote village, with an unpleasant fish smell hanging around. The Google Maps location they gave us was completely wrong and sent us to an even more isolated part of the village. The road was narrow and in poor condition. This property didn’t meet basic expectations, and it was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve had. I strongly recommend finding somewhere else in Alibaug.
