Living Room Beach Resort

We stayed three nights at this quiet resort, where the restaurant, Morjim Culture, is a nice place to spend the evening with good music and a view. Captain Nitish was cooperative. The rooms don’t face the sea, but they’re just a minute from clean Morjim beach, and the restaurant has a great beach view. Breakfast could use a better taste. I’d suggest booking an upper-floor room, since you can hear people walking and running above quite clearly from the ground-floor rooms.

With a large group and several kids and infants, we expected a relaxing stay, but the service felt unprofessional and the resort was a real disappointment. Loud music from the nightclub carried on well into the night along the path by the rooms, making a good night’s sleep nearly impossible. Breakfast was also a letdown, average and with very few choices. The online pictures were completely misleading, and we left feeling cheated. I generally avoid negative reviews, but this felt like a deception. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for families wanting a secure, relaxing environment. Don’t ruin your holiday by booking here.

The staff were courteous and really good, and the property’s location is stunning. From the suite, the beach is just 15 steps away. The suite itself is very spacious, with a large living room opening onto the garden and a separate room with an attached jacuzzi. Some of the materials look and feel old and need maintenance, though they might pass as rustic.

We booked breakfast, and the spread at Morjim Culture had plenty of choice and was good. The staff were courteous and the service was good, too. The property is right by the beach and connected with the famous sundowner Morjim Culture scene, yet it feels quiet and away from the crowds. It worked well for our family and group, with a calm, comfortable place to stay. Thanks to LR for the hospitality.
