We spent Christmas here as a family and loved exploring the forest with our young son. There are beautiful walks, gorgeous Himalayan views, and crisp, clean air. The food is simple, clean, delicious, and full of local flavours, with farm-to-table produce. The staff were really nice and helpful, and even though the property is tucked away in the forest, the Wi-Fi was very good, so we could stay connected. Such a lovely place to relax in nature.

Once we spoke with the manager, most of our concerns were addressed, and they improved the directions and paid more attention to guests’ needs. The setting is beautiful, but getting there is a real challenge. The last 2.5 km has no proper road, just a forest path, and you’ll need an SUV. It’s about two hours beyond Almora, despite what GPS may suggest, and Google Maps gives the wrong route, so call the hotel staff for directions. Food choices are limited. Breakfast is just paratha, poha, and lassi, and if you avoid onion and garlic, plain parathas are the only choice.

A nice spot for relaxing in nature, and the food was amazing. The rooms were a little small and not cleaned very well. It’s a long way from the main road, so come prepared with what you’ll need during your stay.

The comfort and elegance of the accommodation made our stay at Blusalzz Escapades Anant Rasa Shitlakhet Property memorable. On arrival, the scenery was breathtaking and immediately soothing. There’s a lovely mix of natural beauty and modern amenities, with options for both relaxation and adventure. A peaceful, luxurious stay with incredible views.
