The food at Hotel Pitambar was amazing, with fresh, tasty meals served properly. It felt like home style cooking, and the preparation seemed careful about quality and hygiene. Service was quick too, and anything we needed arrived without delay. We found the rooms clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything arranged properly. The atmosphere around the property was pleasant and peaceful. From our arrival, the staff were polite, humble, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their attitude made a real difference to our stay. It was worth every penny and a very satisfying visit to Almora. I'd definitely recommend Hotel Pitambar, and would be happy to stay there again.

We found Hotel Pitamber peaceful and budget friendly, and it's a good option for a stay in Almora. The hotel management helped make everything smooth and pleasant. Staff were attentive, polite, and quick to help, while room service was prompt. The restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced. The location is central, with a lovely view of the surrounding hills. Rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, making them comfortable after a day of sightseeing. I'd happily recommend the hotel.

The staff were helpful and supportive, and there's a safe parking area. The location is very good too. One thing for the chef to work on is the non-veg food, especially the butter chicken. When I ordered it on my visit, I noticed a smell as I started eating. The rest of the service and food was very good and delicious.

On check-in, 24 oct 2024, we took one room for two men, then changed our minds and asked for two rooms. The manager at reception, an older man around 40-50, questioned us about why, where, and how we had become friends, as if we'd done something wrong. He was very rude. The rooms weren't properly clean and had some kind of smell. There was no hot water or TV. They seem to set the price based on your face, charging more if you're from out of state. I've stayed in many hotels, but I wouldn't recommend this one. Choose somewhere else, and don't rent a bike from this hotel, as they charge more.
