I had a really bad experience because of an extra charge, so I cancelled my booking through Oyo.

The room was neat and clean, and the staff gave good service. Everything was very good.

When you book through OYO, the property manager may give you a dirty room and say that the OYO price is low, so you can’t choose a better one. I had to pay an extra 200 rupees to get the room I wanted. Please don’t choose OYO.

We had told them the night before that we needed to leave at 8 am for a train, even though checkout was at 11 am. They said we’d have to pay extra for leaving early, but we didn’t take it seriously. In the morning they locked the main gates and wouldn’t let us out until we paid. The receptionist shouted at us, and we had to pay an extra 200 rupees just to get the gates opened. The money wasn’t much, but we felt like hostages. I’d never seen a hotel charge us for leaving when we wanted. A horrible experience.
4/10
After I refused to pay extra money and complained to customer care, they agreed to give me room 101. It was right in front of the reception, about 2 meters away. I asked to change rooms, but the manager refused. A totally bad experience.
