The bathroom had a strong, unbearable odor that spread into the sleeping area, and the room was so hot I couldn’t sleep because the AC didn’t work at all. The bedding was dusty, too. The sheets were visibly dirty, and the pillows had no covers and were coated in dust. The whole room seemed neglected, and it felt like management wasn’t maintaining the property. This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. I expected basic hygiene and comfort, but got neither. I’d strongly advise travelers to look elsewhere. You shouldn’t have to pay for a dirty, smelly, boiling hot room. Definitely not recommended.

The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. We had two trolleys, and a receptionist carried one of them back and forth while we managed the other ourselves. The room was clean, but much smaller than the photos online suggested, really only suitable for a solo traveler. The location is somewhat remote and hard to find. There’s no lift, so taking luggage up the stairs was a hassle, especially with our room on the second floor. The room needs improvement, and guests shouldn’t count on the online photos, which are misleading.

Hotel Inate Inn, Aluva was a peaceful, comfortable choice for our family and budget. The location is convenient, with easy access from Aluva Railway station and the main town. Our room was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, polite, and ready to help. We had a very pleasant stay.

The service was great, everyone was helpful, and the place was neat and clean. It’s close to the railway station, too. A good spot for an authentic overnight stay.
