I booked this mainly because it's near the Metro and Federal bank junction, with plenty of good food nearby. For the price, I think a single traveler could find a better room. It's an old apartment building, mostly flats, and although I booked for one person they gave me a 2BHK flat. The rooms were horribly dirty, with pests on the bed, damp seepage and cracks across the walls. The bathroom seemed cleaner than the room. I checked in at night and there were no lights in the lounge or the rooms. There was no phone in the room, so I walked all the way downstairs to report it. The person in charge just said the lights would be back in five minutes.

The apartment was spacious, with two bedrooms, and it's right beside Aluva metro station and Rajiv Gandhi Private bus stand. But it needed cleaning and maintenance, the walls were losing plaster, and the bed wasn't clean. No toiletries were provided or even asked for. I wouldn't recommend it for a family, and I wouldn't come back.

We were staying as two families in one apartment, so bathroom locks were a must, but the bathrooms had none. The OYO rooms were full of dust and fungus. We had already asked OYO to clean the rooms and bathrooms because we were traveling with families, but nobody seemed to care.
