OYO 27743 Hotel Platina

The room itself was decent, but there were mosquitoes everywhere and its door wouldn't lock. Staff kept coming in to look at us. At 12:33 a.m., one came in and started taking my utensils. I said they were my personal things, not hotel property, and he replied that he'd eat the food and give them back. Later, when I asked for them, the receptionist denied anyone had taken them. I asked him to check the cameras to see how a stranger could enter someone's room. He called several people, and eventually one admitted taking my utensils. I had booked through Oyo after being told the hotel had a lift. It didn't. I was traveling with a patient, so they put us on the ground floor. In the morning, I ordered breakfast online at 8:30 because I needed to give my father his medicine. But the hotel gate was locked. I kept calling the receptionist and owner using the numbers I had, but both phones were switched off. The receptionist arrived and unlocked it at 9:15, so I could feed Papa. This was the worst hotel stay of my life.

We booked two rooms, and the staff couldn't sort out any of the problems we reported. They were hopeless, so I ended up asking our guests to stay at home instead of at the hotel. One room's toilet had no light, its geyser didn't work, and the mirror was dirty. There were no fresh towels or toilet rolls, no new soap, and the sheet had holes. The TV was sitting on the floor. In the other room, the AC didn't work. That bathroom had lights but no toilet rolls, and the shower stayed cold even though the geyser was installed and switched on. The inside door latch was broken, and the sheets were dirty. A horrible experience. Avoid this hotel.

It's fairly cheap, but just an average hotel.

We paid 12000/- and came away feeling it was a waste of money. The food was served in soup bowls, which was strange. Just horrible.
