The Hideout by Vista Rooms

Beautifully designed, The Hideout sits on an isolated farm just off the highway. They were kind enough to arrange a midnight check-in. It's become my favorite place for a weekend in the Ambala area. Such a heavenly experience.

The owners let us check in early and leave early, which we really appreciated. The staff were warm, helpful, and always willing to go out of their way to make us comfortable. The place is beautifully and creatively designed, with lovely colors and decor that made it feel calm. We especially enjoyed the spacious terrace in the morning sun. It was a great fit for our family: we had a baby and wanted a holiday that felt safe during COVID. The private resort has its own pool and is surrounded by fields and huge lawns. Everything was clean, well maintained, and stocked with the things we needed, so we didn't have to bring much. We spent two nights enjoying the activities, including the pool, cycling, table tennis, and the pool table. There are also lots of books in different genres inside the house. There are two big dogs on the property, but the staff kept them away when we asked. Totally worth the money. Big thanks to the owners and staff for such an amazing luxury stay at The Hideout. This place is a real paradise, with a pool of your own and amazing staff. Nancy at Vista rooms was especially helpful and wonderful. Be sure to follow the directions carefully to find the hidden gem, and look for the wooden gate at the entrance. One thing to know: booking through booking.com caused us some trouble because its system wasn't properly linked with Vista Rooms. Nancy came to the rescue, though. Thanks again!

Surrounded by farmland and peaceful scenery, this beautiful outhouse on a lovely farm was a perfect escape from Delhi. It felt like a home away from home, with great food and welcoming hosts.
