FabHotel Alpine Inn

It’s about 1 km from golden temple, and there’s parking at the hotel. The location is good, and the rooms are neat and clean. The manager behaved well. There’s also a lift, so you don’t need to take the stairs. A good budget hotel.

The rooms are tiny, some without windows, and there’s no view. They’re too small for an extra bed, and the bathrooms are tiny too. The TV didn’t work, the bedsheets and towels weren’t clean, and there’s no restaurant. At reception, the staff member wasn’t helpful and asked us to move to another hotel he knew so he could fit a big group in. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were nice and clean.

The owner let us check out two hours late without an extra charge, and room service was quick. We stayed for a day. The room was spacious and clean, with AC and a geyser, and the basic amenities came at a reasonable price. The owners and staff were courteous and polite. The hotel is at Ajit nagar chowk, just near famous Kulcha land, with other veg and non veg options nearby, and only 1km from Golden temple. The only issue I found was that the WiFi didn’t work inside the room or connect to the TV. I suspect the floor router was too far away. We could manage with mobile data. The stay was nice overall, and I’d highly recommend it. I’d like to visit again when I’m back in Amritsar.
