Green Galaxy Villa

The road to this villa is awful and feels unsafe, and the place doesn’t look like the pictures online. They built a banquet hall in the garden and book it for events while guests are staying in the villa, which is a big turnoff. The villa seems to get bookings because of those beautiful online photos, but I would never recommend staying here. The manager was rude and, in my experience, tried to charge extra for everything, including electricity and cleanup fees that weren’t disclosed upfront. We were left with a bill full of charges at the end. The outside garden was treated as a separate charge of 20000 rupee per day, even though it is part of the villa property. If you’re holding a wedding or another event there, they charge 5-6 times the price for anything you want done. Outside decoration and a DJ aren’t allowed, and the villa’s own event services cost far more than market rates. Update: Thanks for responding to my comment. To clarify, nobody asked for free bedding, food, or other services. The prices should just be fair compared with the market. When we booked, nobody told us that using the lawn would cost 20k per day; it was presented as part of the villa. Only at the last minute, when we asked the manager about using it, the rude manager demanded 20k per day. We were also told event vendors had to come through the villa, at prices 5-6 times higher than outside vendors. With so little time left, we had no choice but to agree. I still wouldn’t recommend this villa. If you want an enjoyable stay, look at other nicer villas instead of dealing with these greedy people.
