The staff and owner were very rude to devotees visiting Sri Amritsar Sahib. Others have also made abusive comments towards them. I ask the Tourism Department and the Police Administration to take action against this behaviour.

The rooms were filthy and the service was awful. There were bed bugs all over the pillows and blankets, and the bathrooms were dirty and smelly. Worst experience I’ve had at hotel Gurbachan castle. Please don’t visit. I’m posting what I found in the hotel room.

No water, charging points that don’t work, broken electronic switches, and no hot water for a bath in winter. The staff were rude and there was zero service. Sabse ghatiya hotel amritsar me.

I was unhappy with the service and staff behaviour, and they asked for extra payment. It felt more like a dharmshala than a hotel. Bad experience. I’d tell everyone not to go.

The staff and owner were extremely rude and abusive, and we nearly got into a fight with them. Worst hotel I’ve ever seen. They charged 30 for a water bottle marked with an MRP of 20 ruppe, even though they can’t sell it above MRP. I suggest not going there.
