The location is good and the room was just OK. The balcony connects to other rooms, so there's no privacy. I booked two days a month in advance, but when I arrived at 7 pm they sent me to another hotel for one night because they were crowded. The next day they moved me back to this hotel. Booking ahead was no use.

The hotel is very near the Golden Temple, which is a plus for a short trip. The rooms are a bit small, though, and the service was satisfactory. My experience was average.

Once they'd taken your money, they seemed to forget about you completely. The service and hospitality were the worst, and the rooms were dirty with a strange smell in each one. I wouldn't stay at hotel darbar view.

The staff were really good, and the hotel was secure with good food. It's just 2 minutes from swarna mandir. A very good hotel, go for it.

The rooms are small and have a damp smell, and I really did find bed bugs. Avoid it. I'm giving two stars only because the staff were nice.
