The stay was very uncomfortable because there was no water supply at the hotel. Water is a basic necessity and shouldn't be a problem. Management and service were disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it.

The location is prime, but my experience was terrible. Staff weren't friendly, and they'd cut the AC power whenever they wanted, so I had to ask them to switch it back on each time. Even having your mother visit for an hour isn't allowed. They start harassing you and telling you to buy another room. The rooms are expensive for what you get, and even basic toiletries aren't provided.

Dirty rooms and dirty sheets. The worst hotel in Amritsar, in my view. Zero rating.

The room had a mirror glass window that showed a lovely reflection of Golden Temple in the morning, and the hotel is very close to Jallianwala Bagh and Golden Temple, about a two-minute walk. That was the best part of the stay. We needed a room for four adults, but none was available, so they gave us one for three with a double and single bed. Both had sheets covered in hair, and the pillow covers were intolerably dirty. There were spider webs around, and the staff didn't sweep properly, so the floor stayed dirty and full of hair. The bathroom had insects I'd never seen before, and no toiletries were supplied, so we bought our own. Curtains and window glass were dusty too. The AC mains kept being switched off. There was no inverter or generator, so when the power went out we had no AC, though the lights and fans still worked. The mirrors weren't cleaned. Only two power points were available, one of them for the TV. We had to ask reception for the TV remote, and it only had free channels. The drinking water they gave us wasn't filtered. After a hard bargain, the room cost Rs. 2100 for 37 hours.
