Le Ma Ridien Amritsar

At dinner on either 7th or 8th feb, I’m not certain which date, a man repeatedly interrupted us to push a membership. I checked with reception and learned his name was Yuvraj. He kept looking at our plates, and his manner made us uncomfortable. He was also bothering other guests. He wasn’t wearing a blazer and didn’t come across as professional; the way he spoke didn’t match the standard of Le Méridien. Please limit interruptions like this during meals. He kept asking to come to my home to collect payment. If I wanted the membership, I could have paid immediately, so I don’t understand why he wanted to visit my home or what his intentions were. He doesn’t belong to Marriott group, so I don’t understand why outsiders are allowed in a five-star property like Le Méridien. I consider this inappropriate and below the standard expected at a five-star establishment. It made me uncomfortable and affected my experience. Please review what happened and take action to prevent this happening to other guests. If anything happens in future, I will take legal action against him and the property. I look forward to your response.

Mr. Anukam, the General Manager, made a real difference through his personal attention, kindness, and thoughtful hospitality. His care was clear throughout our stay, and we felt valued. The staff were courteous and attentive, and everything ran smoothly. We felt genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived, almost as if we were at home. Le Méridien Amritsar gave us one of our finest hotel hospitality experiences. We’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the city, and look forward to coming back.

The meals were a highlight, full of flavor and nicely presented, with both local and international touches. Staff were kind and professional in every interaction, and their attention and willingness to help made the stay more memorable. Mr Anukam (GM) and Mr Tejinder, your warmth and hospitality really come through in this hotel. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, a good place to unwind after exploring the city. The hotel itself felt peaceful, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. From arrival, the welcome was warm and gracious, and we felt at home. Le Méridien Amritsar is an experience of comfort and heartfelt service, and I’d gladly recommend it to visitors to Amritsar. I look forward to returning.

The buffet restaurant made meals difficult. There seemed to be a group of perhaps 40 children, aged 8 to 11, staying at the hotel, and it was like eating in a noisy school canteen. We left breakfast and dinner to find somewhere quieter. On the second night, children were again running and shouting in the corridors. We spent two nights here in February 2026, and although the hotel looks smart and modern, there are problems beneath the surface. It also hosts weddings and other events as well as tourist groups. On our first night, wedding music was so loud the hotel was shaking, and it continued until at least 0230. Children were running and screaming in the corridors at that hour too. We were two floors above the event, while others in our group said their rooms several floors higher were shaking from the bass. It was hardly restful. Restaurant staff seemed uninterested in looking after guests, standing around instead of bringing water and drinks or clearing tables. The food was mediocre at best and often only lukewarm. I’m not sure what clientele the hotel wants, but noisy weddings and school trips don’t fit well with people paying for a four-star experience.
