Narison Hotel By Divud Ecom

My stay at Narison Hotel in Amritsar last night was really disappointing. The room was very small, the geyser didn't work properly, and there were no basic toiletries. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and the manager showed very little courtesy. We were supposed to get two complimentary water bottles, but they weren't provided at first. When they were eventually brought, we were charged for them. The service didn't meet even basic expectations. I strongly don't recommend this hotel, and hope management takes the feedback seriously and improves things for future guests. I recommend hotel ramneek at shivala pathak husanpura instead. It was very good, and all the staff were polite. Please, I'm begging everyone not to go to Narison Hotel. The manager behaved very badly and really ruined my tour...

The surrounding area feels unsafe and very cheap after 7 PM, especially if you're traveling with women. I wouldn't recommend walking to the Golden Temple in the evening or at night. It's about 1.2 km away, so the distance itself is walkable. I stayed here for three nights during a visit to Amritsar last week, after booking online based on the photos and positive reviews. For the price, the stay was extremely disappointing. It cost around ₹2000 a night for a basic room, and paying more for a higher-priced room made no difference. I've had much better basic amenities at hotels in the ₹1000-1200 range. There wasn't even a kettle, complimentary daily drinking water, hand wash, or towels. An iron wasn't available, even when we asked. The staff simply said they don't provide those things, with no alternative. They were unresponsive and seemed untrained. For any request, we had to go downstairs ourselves, as no one proactively came to help in the room. When we complained about the service, the manager said, “We can't do anything about what we don't provide.” That's especially frustrating because toiletries and a kettle appear in the online photos, which is misleading. In short, don't expect service or facilities here. Bring everything yourself or avoid booking this hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I had a positive experience overall. It's conveniently near Golden Temple parking, with easy access to parking, the highway, and city routes. The room was satisfactory, but the bathroom is quite small and could use an air purifier.

I felt misled and badly treated after an uncomfortable stay. The manager Manju had been sweet and welcoming when I booked, but once there was a problem her attitude changed. She became dismissive and rude, and was defensive rather than trying to sort it out. When I raised the matter the next day and asked for compensation or a refund, the staff refused to take responsibility. The problem was an overnight power cut that lasted more than four hours. There was no backup power, and staff offered no communication or support during the blackout. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you expect basic reliability and respectful customer service.
