OYO 9602 Hotel Bharat Lodge

The room itself was in bad shape: the geyser and TV didn't work, the faucets were broken, and the mattress and blankets were so dirty they looked like they hadn't been washed in ages. WiFi was listed as available 24/7, but they didn't mention it only worked up to the first floor. The AC kept getting switched off, so we had to call again and again to have it turned back on. In the morning we asked for water bottles and chai and waited an hour while they kept saying it would come soon. When we asked again, they just told us to go get it ourselves. What the hell!

The mattress was hard, the bathroom tiny, and the taps were broken. Towels were dirty and torn, and everything seemed run down. The dish wasn't working, and the TV only showed a black-and-white picture. This felt more like a lodge than a hotel, and I wasted my money. Don't stay here, choose somewhere else.

They charged for bottled water when we asked for water, saying the local drinking water wasn't good. The room had used towels, a cheap sheet, and dirty pillows with mismatched covers. The geyser didn't work, and the cupboard door was broken. There was a TV and set-top box, but it was plugged into a broken socket, and there was no remote for the box. Not one channel could be watched. The receptionist never said a word and always had a straight face, and there was no hospitality from the staff. Someone was right to say the owner, or whoever runs the hotel, only cares about money.

A horrible experience. They took all our money and then asked for more. The worst hotel, don't go.
