Sarovar Premiere Amritsar

The breakfast buffet was good, with excellent live cooking stations and fresh food. Service was a little slow on our first day, probably because we ate late, around 10 a.m. When we went earlier, around 8 a.m., on the following days, it was efficient and everything was perfect. We stayed as a family with two adults and two small children and were very happy overall. The hotel is new, modern, and well maintained. Our rooms were well equipped, and the bathrooms were very clean and good quality. Kashish at reception treated us wonderfully and was friendly, professional, and helpful throughout. The security staff were kind and attentive too, especially Jagjeet, who greeted us warmly and made us feel safe and welcome. There were a couple of minor bathroom issues. The shower glass leaked a little, so water ran toward the toilet; we dealt with it by putting a towel on the floor. The sink also seemed slightly uneven, causing water to flow to one side. These didn't significantly affect our comfort. We'd gladly recommend the hotel, especially for families.

Sarovar Premier, Amritsar was a really pleasant stay, and the location is a big plus. It's very central, so getting around the city was easy. The room was clean, well appointed, and more spacious than I expected. Room service was impressively prompt whenever we needed something. Everyone was courteous, polite, and genuinely helpful. The restaurant had a wide variety of options and consistently delicious meals. Mr. Himanshu was especially attentive and made sure we were looked after throughout dinner. I'd happily recommend Sarovar Premier to families and solo travellers looking for comfort and good service in Amritsar.

The room quality could be better, especially for the price per night. Still, it was a wonderful experience, with a very personal and heartfelt approach from the hosting team. From check-in, Sejal and Kashish looked after us, and Deepti, Jaspreet, and the chef took great care of us at breakfast. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The team went out of their way to understand our needs and serve us with genuine warmth.

A thoughtful touch was that the staff arranged a birthday cake for our special occasion. There's also ample valet parking, which is convenient if you're arriving by car. The hotel is about 2 km from the Golden Temple, and the location is quite good. The spacious rooms were clean and well maintained. It's a newly restored property converted from an old circuit house, so it has a fresh but heritage-like feel. The main issues were the winter facilities. Amritsar gets very cold, but there's no central heating, and the one portable heater provided wasn't enough to warm the room. There was also no hot water during winter, which is unacceptable and needs immediate attention. The location and room quality are good, but better heating and hot water are essential for a comfortable winter stay.
