Hotel Blueivy

The staff have been friendly, respectful, and professional throughout my stay, with excellent service. I'm here for a week and would gladly stay longer. Blue Ivy's rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a large table for working, effective AC, and a very comfortable bed. The shower has strong pressure and consistently hot water. Breakfast is very good, especially for vegetarians, with a wide selection; since the hotel also runs a restaurant open to the public, there's a good range of dishes. I don't have major complaints and wouldn't consider moving, as I doubt another hotel would match this service and experience. There is a room safe, but I couldn't get it working properly, and the small fridge didn't seem to be fully functioning. Those are minor points. I'd highly recommend Blue Ivy if you're visiting Anand. One update: after I'd mentioned that the hotel was quiet, we were woken by loud banging and doors slamming from 12:15 am to 1:15 am. Hopefully it was a one-off.

The food quality didn't justify the price, and our family meal at Blue Ivy Restaurant was disappointing. The naan was burnt at the edges and not soft. There was a small piece of broom in the quesadilla, which was concerning and unacceptable for hygiene. The jeera rice came within 30 seconds of ordering and didn't taste fresh, so it seemed pre-prepared and not reheated properly. I hope management takes food quality and hygiene more seriously.

We went to Blueivy for dinner today, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were polite, attentive, and well-mannered, so at first it was a pleasant meal. But while we waited for our order, we saw a staff member make a small serving mistake, then a man, possibly the owner or someone in charge, slap them. It wasn't right in front of all the customers, but we could clearly see it, and it shocked us. It was disturbing and changed how we felt about the experience. Nobody deserves to be treated that way for doing their job. Mistakes happen and should be handled professionally and with understanding, not physical aggression. I hope management makes sure employees are treated with respect and dignity.

The food was freshly prepared and great. I've been to this place several times, and the interior and seating arrangement are lovely. It's in a prime location with plenty of parking, and works well for fine dining with family or as a dinner date. They also have a banquet hall and a few rooms.
