Hotel H

Hotel H is in the market area, which made shopping, eating out and getting around locally easy. The restaurant food was tasty and hygienic, the service was prompt, and breakfast was decent and well prepared. The rooms and shared spaces were very clean, with consistent housekeeping. It’s a comfortable, good value choice for a business or family stay.

Getting in and out was quick and hassle-free, and the location puts food joints and shopping within walking distance. Breakfast was good, though the spread was limited. They also have their own dosa restaurant and Gujarati thali restaurant. The rooms had the necessary amenities and were clean, but could be a little cleaner. Still, one of the best places to stay in Anand, and I’d recommend it.

I wouldn’t recommend Hotel H Anand. The first room had damaged bathroom doors and poor furniture. After I complained, we were moved, but the next room had exactly the same problems. When we asked to see a third, they said the hotel was full. It left me thinking the rooms were poorly maintained. Management showed no concern for guests, and the stay wasn’t worth the money.

The staff were lovely, especially HARMIT, and the restaurant team was great. The food there was amazing. But the stay itself was a nightmare, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. This was my second visit, and I wish I hadn’t booked it. I paid for five nights, so after moving rooms twice I had no choice but to stay in the third, which was better. In the first room I found black bugs on the bed and it smelled damp. The second had the same awful issues. The fridge and safe didn’t work, the TV stopped working, and the bathroom was missing one shower door while the toilet leaked. The sheets had red marks and didn’t seem properly washed. There was chewing gum in the flower pot by the lift too, completely unhygienic. If you do stay, check the beds. They were absolutely disgusting.
