Reemz Beach Heaven Hotel

The listing says the beach is 700m away, but the walk is about 20 minutes, so those directions are really misleading. The online pictures don’t match what you get, either. My room wasn’t clean, and the shower was really dirty, with hair stuck to the walls. My door didn’t work when we arrived, so I had to use the backup key. I’d booked three nights but could only manage one, and left as soon as we could. As a young female traveller, I didn’t feel safe and slept with a cup against the door. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

The pool was a highlight for me, and breakfast was mild and good-tasting. The room was very neat and clean, though a little cramped because the standard room is too small. It’s one of the best stay options in Anjuna, about a five-minute drive from Anjuna and Vagator beach. I had a great experience.

We booked a suite with a jacuzzi, but it didn’t work. Staff spent three hours playing with the tap modes and acting like they were fixing it, when they were only changing the modes. Their response was horrible, and even with other jacuzzi rooms empty, they were reluctant to move us. Worst service ever. Don’t book this place.

Having a hair dryer in the room was a real convenience. My long hair takes a while to dry naturally, and this one worked well and was easy to use, so I didn’t have to bring my own or ask the front desk to borrow one. The hotel in Goa felt comfortable and well-equipped, and the hair dryer was definitely a plus.
